Jeudi dernier, le Wall Street Journal nous apprenait que Samsung avait déposé un brevet pour des “lunettes de sport” dans son pays natal, la Corée du Sud. Le produit décrit permet de répondre au téléphone lors d’un entrainement, de voir des notifications en provenance du téléphone à travers les verres transparents ou translucides et d’écouter de la musique grâce aux écouteurs intégrés dans la monture des lunettes. Tout cela durant une séance de sport.

Plateforme d’applications ?

Contrairement aux Google Glass, l’appareil de Samsung semble être conçu comme un périphérique dépendant d’un smartphone. Le dessin du brevet montre par exemple un câble connectant les lunettes via micro USB. Aucune connectivité bluetooth ou wifi n’est mentionnée, bien qu’elles seront probablement disponibles. Rien n’indique non plus que Samsung prévoit de faire de ses Samsung Glass une plateforme d’applications à part comme les Google Glass.

Un rapport indique que le Galaxy S5 sera équipé d’un APN de 16 MP
